Sports massage is not a spa treatment. It is targeted, clinical soft tissue work designed to fix problems in your muscles, tendons, and fascia. Whether you are training for a marathon, recovering from a gym session, or dealing with persistent muscle tension from sitting at a desk all day, this is what gets the knots out and keeps your body working.
Our sports therapists use deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release to break down adhesions and restore normal muscle function. It can feel intense, but it works. Most patients notice a real difference in their range of motion and pain levels straight after the session.
We treat a lot of runners, gym-goers, golfers, and tennis players from Harborne and the surrounding areas. We also see office workers with chronic tension in their neck and shoulders, and people recovering from injuries who need soft tissue work alongside their chiropractic or physiotherapy treatment.
Because we sit within a multi-discipline clinic, your sports therapist can work alongside our chiropractors and physiotherapists. If we think you need more than massage — a spinal adjustment, a structured rehab programme, or shockwave therapy — we can arrange that without you having to start again somewhere else.
You do not need a referral. Book a 30-minute or 60-minute session online and we will have you in within the week.
What to Expect
Your therapist asks about your pain, your training, and what you want to achieve. This takes a few minutes so we can focus the session on where you need it most.
Deep tissue work, trigger point release, and stretching focused on problem areas. We communicate throughout and adjust the pressure to what is effective for you.
We give you stretches and advice to maintain the improvement between sessions. If we think you would benefit from a different treatment alongside massage, we will tell you.
